Flo Rida Meet & Greet

Whew! After standing in line for 2 hours for the Flo Rida meet and Greet and spending x amount of time working on printing photos and making my scrapbook page for him to sign I finally got Flo Rida's autograph and Lil Brianna's. Since the event was a closed base The lines weren't completely wrapped around the building and this I was excited about! I did not get to take photos being the first in line always has it faults of trial and error with how they will run things, however I was able to get back in line after eating lunch and get the photo I wanted! Yippee!

Also I wanted to thank my good friend Kara for getting my white shirt he swung around signed! Woot! Woot! I love her! Flo Rida was also giving out signed Cd's which was really nice.

Flo Rida Video from Concert

Digital Layout of Concert Photos

Flo Rida Concert Tonight!

Let me just say, I have spent the past 2 hours loading, editing i.e cropping naming and saving, photo files from the Flo Rida concert in Atsugi.

I was home at 11pm, now it is 1am..wow! Lemme tell you if I had a gypsy I could have been creating all kinds of things while I was waiting for the concert to begin..
First at 330 I went with the Hubby and youngest DD to a BBQ as oldest DD went to a Birthday Party. So we went to the BBQ and and had a great time with good people and good food, hamburgers, steaks, yakisoba, salsa, jalapeno raspberry jelly and crackers, chili mac, chips, 7 layer bean dip and potatoes.. good good food.
Hubby drank a little and wasn't feeling well so went home while I went on to the concert. After looking for oldest DD in the crowd for about 30 minutes I decided to find a place to sit/stand for the concert. As luck would have it I was able to get in at the front row a little to the right of center of the stage right up against the ropes.

The first performer, that I was there for anyways, was Anuhea I had never heard her music before but I really enjoyed it.

Then after the stage change and some technical stuff including getting the mics to work, Lil Brianna came out. Again I had never heard of her but I really enjoyed her music as well, seems like I will have to hit Itunes to purchase and download some songs right? (of course)

Then Woot! Woot! Flo Rida, he signed towels and threw them out in the crowd, I had my hands on a towel 2 different times, the first time I was pushed so far against the ropes I was falling over them and the security guy holding me was the only reason I did not do a face plant, thankfully! I don't play tug of war though so I let both of the towels go (insert sad face, cause I really was sad about it).
However Flo Rida got on the shoulders of (I'm sorry I forgot his names, maybe a roadie or body guard), he was shirtless sweaty and wet after puring some water over his head and went in front of the crowd to give some love while singing Right Round.. At this point it was towards the end of the concert and I was hot from jumping around and screaming and being on my feet for 4 hours and with so many bodies against me. So I had taken my White shirt off and was wearing a white tank top, though I did not get to touch Flo Rida, I was able to give him my shirt and have him twirl it around a bit.. Woot! Woot! (I was excited) As he was handing it back to me the girl next to me tried to take MY shirt..LOL CRAZY!!

This was my best concert experience, I jumped, danced, sang and had a great time even though I attended the concert alone..

Thank you MWR NAF Atsugi and Flo Rida, Lil Brianna, & Anuhea for coming out and providing a wonderful night for the Military Families. We appreciate it!

Harry Potter Swaps -Updated

These are the swaps I made for, yep you guessed it Harry Potter. I made bottle cap keychains and added a beaded dangle. The large framed picture is a refrigerator magnet.

The Magnets were made using 2x2 memory glass, a 2x2 whale of a punch and 2x2 memory frame. The image was printed on photo paper. I then used E6000 Glue to adhere a magnet to the back of the photo which also has cereal box and cardstock behind to make it thick enough for the frame.
This was my first time beading and using bottle caps. I printed the photos on photo quality paper that to me made the images pop, used my circle punch to punch them out (1 inch) glued them with diamond glaze, I then sprayed them with a crystal clear gloss and let them dry. After they were dry I used Sun and Moon Glaze to give it a little more dimension and shine.

This year her party was at the teen center with strobe lights, disco ball and loud music. We catered the event (LOL) with sandwiches, chips a fruit tray and lots of candy.

I made her invitations to look like tickets with a stub that said admit one only. She chose the picture she wanted on her invite I was going to add some birthday party clipart but she wanted her photo..
Ms Judy made the cake, Pink buttercream frosting the top tier is zebra stripes made from fondant. I love buttercream frosting, yummy.

Have you watched

The Sons of Anarchy?

One night while channel surfing with the Hubby we came across this show, and lemme tell you I am hooked. I Tivo all of the episodes and I am on the edge of my seat waiting fro the new season to start. If you haven't seen SOA you might be missing out on some of the finest eye candy on TV, Jax Teller played by Charlie Hunnam.. Yummy!

The Sons of Anarchy (SOA) is based on a small town called Charming where this Motorcycle Club (MC) is pretty much the Law there. The club does not deal drugs and keeps the drug dealers out of Charming as well as prostitutes. They do this buy selling illegal guns to the neighbor towns/rivals. Many people in town are on their payroll including the Sheriff.
Enough of my description, here is the official description of the show.
FX's original series, Sons of Anarchy, is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club's (MC) desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that their simple, sheltered town of Charming, California remains exactly that, Charming. The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC's familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business. The seduction of money, power, and blood.
Jackson 'Jax' Teller (Charlie Hunnam) is the MC's vice-president, whose loyalty to the club is tested by his growing apprehension for its lawlessness; Gemma Teller Morrow (Katey Sagal) is Jax's force-of-nature mother; and Clarence 'Clay' Morrow (Ron Perlman) is Jax's stepfather and MC president. The triangle of Mother, Son, and Stepfather will ultimately reveal the dark secrets in this family's past and the lengths they will go to protect their sins.
This season Jax and the club deal with the fallout from Donna's death, bringing internal tensions to an all-time high while a new enemy takes root in Charming. LOAN, or League of American Nationalists, is a white separatist organization headed by Ethan Zobelle (Adam Arkin) with help from his lieutenant, AJ Weston (Henry Rollins). Zobelle, who opens a cigar shop on Main Street intent on ingratiating himself with the community and forcing SAMCRO out.
Sons of Anarchy was created by Kurt Sutter, who also serves as executive producer along with John Linson & Art Linson. Allen Coulter and Michael Dinner directed the pilot episode. Sons of Anarchy is a co-production of FX Productions and FOX 21, Twentieth Century Fox Television's alternative production arm.

Henry Rollins, Katey Sagal, Ron Perlman and Ryan Hurst are other names of actors in the TV series.

I can not talk about Yumminess and Hot Guys without mentioning Taylor Lautner, though he was born 4 years before I graduated High School I can't help but say he is HOT! The way he has bulked up for New Moon is WOW! Him coupled with the love for the Twilight Saga and the Robsten romance circling the movie is why I will see New Moon probably more than once. Twilight I watched maybe a handful of times, I just wasn't impressed with the from book to movie adaptation. No bashing, I still LOVE Twilight and I am a Twi-Mom, I am just hoping New Moon stays more true to the book this time, the books after all is why we fell in love with Twilight in the first place. The movies are just making the fantasy of the books even more addicting.

Won tons Yummy!

As I was grocery shopping the other day I came across a package of won tons and decided that they looked easy enough to cook. (Even if they did not have a recipe for the filling) I decide to make chicken won tons, having NEVER made won tons before I purchased chicken, cilantro, onions and cheese.
When I got home I pulled out my ingredients, my chopper/food processor, a bowl of water, and a baking sheet as I decided to go healthier and bake them instead of fry.

Cooked Chicken
Season to taste .. my standby seasoning is: Tony Cacheres, Garlic Powder and Black Pepper

I lay out my won ton sheets on some parchment paper (I was afraid they would stick to the counter), filled them with the chicken mixture then using my fingertips, dip them in water and wet the edges to seal the won ton.
Won tons folded into a triangle and right before baking I brought the 2 edges together (it reminded me of a fortune cookie sort of). Not all of them made it into a triangle shape some I just folded over in half more like a rectangle. Then I brushed the tops of the won tons with egg and placed on a sprayed cookie sheet and baked for about 10minutes (or until golden brown)
This is how they won tons came out of the oven, I placed some salsa and sour cream out for dipping and they were light, crunchy and pretty darn tasty.
My next won ton filling will be a recipe I found online for Crab Rangoon I am really looking forward to trying it.

Thanks for looking, have a wonderfully creative day!

Notebook Extraordinaire Swap

This is the composition book I altered for the Notebook Extraordinaire Swap hosted on the Cricut Board.. I had just finished it and given it to my daughters friends to approve or not approve and then I had to rush out the door and the book was left with them.. Well things happen as they do and when I was going to package it off and mail it I asked my daughter for it.
Somewhere between them looking at it and me receiving it a cup of water was spilled on the entire book and it was ruined. No one single persons fault just a series of missteps and an accident. So I will be starting over on this swap. Here is a slide show of the book though.

Rules: The rules were to decorate a notebook Front and Back cover inside cover and at least 10 additional pages.

Accoutrement's: DCWV Rock Star Paper, SU Top Note Die, Taylored Expressions Bling, CTMH Ribbon, Maya Arts Ribbon, Leaving Prints Patterened Paper, Cricut Indie Cart Cuts, CTMH DP, Skittles, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, 1x1 Square Punch, Unity Stamp Co.
