Erica is having a VERY special day today she has planned a "picnic" at her home and invited her family and friends for a small intimate "picnic"

Why do I keep saying "picnic"? Well because unknown to her guests and her family or her fiancee,  she has planned a wedding in her home. How fantastic right? Erica is really great, she is a strong woman a survivor of cancer has been blessed with a daughter and through it all she has remained  strong. I found Erica on the Cricut Messageboard and since she launched her Blog or at least very near the beginning and her Facebook page I have been a follower. She has great advice, great ideas, and challenges us I feel like she is a friend...

In honor of Erica on her special day, I have decided to share some pictures of my wedding 14 years ago.. I was married at NAS Lemoore, the Chapel was free, I was 3 months pregnant.. The dress I purchased ended up to be about $100 as this was the time Gottschalks was having a clearance sale in the Bridal Section as they were no longer going to have one. My veil was made by my Mother and the reception was catered by my Mother. My in-laws flew in from Louisiana and all my family attended my Wedding, as well as my Husbands Navy compadres..

The Pastor who married us, Dan was hilarious and I remember even during my vows cracking up but from behind it looked like I was crying.. hee hee We had a reception at Jack Stones Barn and danced and drank and ate and just had a Wonderful time..
