Card Creating Tuesday

Good Morning Bloggers! Today I am one of the featured Design Team Members over at My Cricut Craft Room.
Todays feature is Card Creating Tuesday! This is one of the days that fills up the quickest by DT Members!

Today I worked with the Cricut Craft Room, My Imagine, A Child's Year Cartridge and the Pattern Cartridge Elise.

The shadow of the apple was welded together to form the base of the card and flood filled with a solid green color
Cut at 3.89
The Layer cut was filled with a green patterned image
Cut at 3.4

I then distressed the card base and the layer cut with TH Distress Ink Vintage Photo
I took a piece of scrap paper from my 1/2lb of scrap stash and measured out where it needed
to be on the card to show underneath the silhouette of the girl
I then used the apple layer cut and popped it up with foam adhesive to give it some added dimension

This would be great for a Teacher card, you can print your own paper on kraft stock to read whatever your heart desires. Some ideas are the teachers name over and over, teach and subject, a short letter from child to teacher, words of praise/encouragement/thanks.. possibilities are endless..

I debated whether adding more embellishments to the card but I felt it took away from what I wanted my "main" focus to be which is the silhouette.
