Valentines Day Card

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

I will be out of commission for a few days as I am having surgery today. (this post was pre scheduled)

I love to see Black as the base of a card
I used my Cricut Imagine and the Imagine More Cartridge
to print and cut the Hearts in layers. I then used patterns from the cartridge to
fill the hearts with different patterns. This cut comes with a rose but I omitted it.

I hung a TH Tag that says kiss
and the letter U from Pink Paislee Meringue
TH Vintage Photo distress ink around the hearts

I really do like the whole look of this card.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you get a chance to CREATE something wonderful with your Cricut, stamps, etc.

I used the {ippity} stamp set called "Bee" Better Together
I used a Marvy 2 1/2 circle punch for the main image
and a 1 1/4 fiskars punch for the colored image
I then used a Martha stewart punch to add the layered effect on the bottom of the card
and inked it using Linen Distress Ink

The flowers were made from scrap paper and rolled then I added glitter to them.
The pink ribbon is Stampin Up Ribbon from my stash

Tuesday with Erica's Craft Room

My Cricut Craft Room

Good Morning Bloggers, well it has been a while hasn't it?

Today I am blogging for Erica's Craft Room Design Team.
My project today was to use a Cricut cut and the Crop a Dile.

I do not usually use my crop a file for more than hole punching,
so I am glad that this was one of the options today for a project.
I love being challenged, thanks Erica!

The Card base is printed and cut from the Cricut Imagine Cartridge Yummy
using the Happy Birthday pattern paper (<3 it)
I then punched a  1 1/2 inch circle and distressed the edges
I placed my silhouette cur from the cartridge A Childs Year
(I cut the shadow in black and the cut in blue) and distressed it

I then placed 6 eyelets on the card.. I was going to do a whole circle of eyelets around the
image but I really liked the look I have here..

So in case you are wondering where I have been? I have been relieved of my seasonal position
because I will be having surgery next week, but I have been asked to come back when I am recovered
that they would gladly hire me back.. (yeah) since then I have been knee/waist deep in this mess...

re-doing my Craft Room.. it is a mess! I know I am a messy crafter, but at least it is my mess & I can find things 85% of the time when I am looking for them.. In this MESS I can't find anything it is amazing I have been able to craft...

I can't wait until it is finished!!

So thanks for stopping by today, be sure you stop by Erica's Craft Room to see what the other
DT Members have whipped up for you today.!

Happy Crafting!
