Hello Crafters & Bloggers as well as Visitors! Whew! It is FRIDAY!
I actually have a POST for once! My life is beginning to resemble a little bit of normal.
My Craft Room is still a wreck - Bummer
I have had the realization that in just 3 months my first child will be Graduating High School, I am looking forward to this and dreading it as well. Where has the time gone?
I spent the previous 2 days decluttering my kitchen as I received some fun NEW gadgets,
darn that HSN!
Back to the Crafts!
Created this card for the special man in my life, we recently (Feb 22nd) celebrated 18 years of marriage! Though we were not together on this day we still Face timed each other.
I have so much NEW Close to My Heart items, things I just have NOT had time to play with, that I was really excited and a bit overwhelmed when I finally gave in to the urge to enter my craft room and create.
This card was really fun to create and is my take on a MASCULINE card
I used the *Operation Smile Stamp Set: You're the Bomb, this is such a fun stamp set.
Read about Operation Smile Below *
I also used paper from the Seaside Collection - it is one sheet and I am showing the pattern on both sides. I also used the Close to My Heart Chevron Border Punch, CTMH Liquid Glass, Gold Sequins, Inks: Chocolate, Slate, and Glacier.
Standard A2 sized Card
Inked the Edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink
All items can be purchased online at www.iheartstamping.ctmh.com or you Email Me Here
*You can change the life of a child with just one stamp set.
When you purchase the C-size You're the Bomb stamp set at full retail price, $13.95, anytime between now through March 2015, Close To My Heart will donate $3 of the proceeds to Operation Smile.
Operation Smile was founded in 1982 and has performed over 220,000 surgical procedures to correct facial deformities in children. It only takes an hour for volunteer medical teams to perform these life altering surgeries that will give children confidence for a lifetime.
*Donation is $3USD. Stamps purchased in US states AL and MA excluded from donations due to legal requirements.
This is all the rage on Facebook right now, so I thought for Valentines Day I would give it a go.
Purchased the Bear from Walmart for $2.88
Red Vinyl is Siser Easy Weed HTV Vinyl
Font: Fiolex Girls
Cut with my Cricut Explore.. I personally do not have a heat press so this was done with an iron,
I think the bear was a bit too hairy to get the look I was ACTUALLY going for.
What has been something new that you have tried lately?
Have a GREAT Weekend Everyone!
xoxo
Heather
